5/21/26

Uncommitted. Stands in a 5-foot-11, 165-pound athletic frame with some lean strength. Started at third base and batted sixth. Didn't record a hit on the day but barreled two fly outs, one to center field and another to the right field warning track. A left-handed hitter, Weeks showed a fluid swing with quick hands through the zone. Defensively, showed confident hands with a clean transfer, quality arm across and clean footwork. An uncommitted junior to continue to follow the rest of the spring and summer.

3/21/26

Uncommitted. Stands in an athletic 5-foot-11, 165-pound frame with more room to come. Started at third base and batted eight. A left-handed hitter, showed a fluid swing with a toe-tap trigger, hands stayed direct through the zone and worked slightly uphill. Showed a confident glove during in-and-out with range and a quality arm across the diamond. No results to show in this look, but remains an uncommitted junior name to follow in Illinois.

2/18/26

INF Jake Weeks (Dunlap, 2027) will be a name to follow in the coming years, looking like an upside left-handed hitter with athletic actions on the infield. At the plate, he has a fluid and handsy swing with feel to use the whole field with some spray to the gaps. On the infield, he’s a natural and athletic mover with soft hands, moving well to both sides of his glove with crisp transfers and a strong arm to pair (T85 mph).
