True Sophomore. Gutkowski looks to return to the Hawks rotation after being heavily relied on last season. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound right-hander impressed with control over four quality pitches throughout his ‘pen. His fastball sat right in the 80-82 mph range, topping out at 83 mph with an IVB up to 19.3 (T2229 RPM). His curveball and slider are both above-average offerings; with the curveball coming in at 70-72 mph with sharp 11/5 action and spin rates over 2,400 RPM - while his slider sat 71-74 mph with late 10/4 action and a spin rate up to 2,600 RPM. His final offering was a changeup at 71-72 mph, fading heavily to the arm-side with up to 18 inches of run at times.
