Heartland CC commit. Ranked No. 133 in Illinois’ class of 2023. Athletic body, durable, 5-foot-10, 170-pounds. Contreras batted second in the order and played shortstop for the Vikings. Simple approach in the box, looking to use the whole field. Had two of the team's three hits in the game. The first came during his second at-bat of the game, with a double to left center. The second hit came in a big spot, with no outs and the bases loaded Contreras brought home the team’s first run in the fifth inning. Defensively, made both plays showing athlete footwork with steady hands.

Defense: Quick and clean transfer, plays through the baseball, sound defender.
Run: 7.82 runner in the 60.
