Uncommitted junior. 5-foot-10, 155-pound, right-handed pitcher, athletic frame and actions, pitches bigger than his listed frame. Started against the No.1 team in IL at the time, St. Laurence, allowing only four hits through five innings; 5IP, 4H, 6R, 3ER, K, 6BBs (58 of 108 pitches for strikes). Athletic windup with rhythm through to release, exaggerated side step windup, open setup in stretch, sturdy balance, heel lifted, loads on back side, high front side, extends slightly closed to home adding deception, toe lands closed, controlled, easy finish.  Short arm action with slight firmness, hides on his back side well, gets on hitters, speeds through an over the top window, easy out of the hand. Was a one pitch pitcher early, could not get off-speed over the plate, struggled to repeat. Fastball has run and sink, flashed late at times, 84-86 mph, T87, 8:4 ratio groundouts to flyouts, sinker plays when down. Showed a tight breaking curve with 12//6 action and depth at times, more so when he settled in towards the 3rd inning, 71-72 mph, left it up early with a slower arm speed. No changeups recorded in game. Lax demeanor in warmups, active, vocal and fiery type when game gets going, competitive. Follow 2020.

8.26.18 - 5-foot-10, 155-pound, two-way prospect. Right-handed pitcher, delivery works with rhythm, slightly across his body, lands closed and easy effort throughout. Short, quick arm action from an over-the-top slot. Fastball works mostly straight, occasional cutting action, thrown for strikes, 80-83 mph, touched 84. Curveball, sharp action, 11/5 plane, maintains arm speed, feel, 65-69 mph. Changeup, arm-side-run, ranged between, 70-73 mph. At the plate, right-handed hitter, open setup, stride gets back to even, uphill path at times; 77 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, reliable hands, plays tall through the baseball, short arm action, throws clocked at 79 mph. 7.32 runner in the 60, laser-timed.
