6.13.13 - Athletically built, 5-foot-10, 160-pound left handed hitting infielder. Defensively moved well on the infield, advanced lateral movement, showed above average range. Played through the baseball well, stays low, works to his target, 7.22 runner. Arm plays with carry across the diamond, short arm action, high ¾ slot, 81 mph across the infield. Offensively hits from a slightly open stance, short stride. Lower half is active, shows good balance throughout, line drive gap to gap guy. 86 mph exit velocity.

Can play multiple positions – middle infield and outfield – played shortstop in Monday’s game against Willowbrook. Showed athletic feet and plenty of arm in the field; made two stellar defensive plays, including one deep in the hole, near where the dirt meets the grass, planted and got the runner by a hair to end the sixth inning. Showed quick transfer and ability to throw at different angles. Also made a diving play to record the first out in the sixth. Offensively, has a loose, quick swing. Line-drive approach. Ran a 7.07 60 at the Preseason All-State Showcase; was clocked at 79 mph at shortstop and 85 mph from the outfield.
2/17/13 - Athletically built, 5-foot-10, 155-pound multi positional player, left handed hitter. Defensively plays athletically, shows the ability to play multiple positions. In the outfield plays aggressively to and through the baseball, uses crow hop well, athletic feet. Arm works well defensively, loose arm action, shows accuracy, 85 mph from the outfield, 79 mph from the infield. On the infield shows solid hands, quick exchange of the baseball, arm works athletically. Offensively, hits from the left side, balanced setup that starts slightly open, uses smooth load and short stride. Bat path is short, shows bat speed, line drive hitter, shows bat control. Projects as an athlete who can play multiple positions and hit from the left side.
10/21/12 - Becht is a 5-foot-10, 155-pound multi-positional player. Becht showed true outfield actions moving his feet quickly and aggressively. Becht has some quick twitch actions making a quick, clean exchange while playing through the ball well. His arm is loose and throws from an over the top slot with carry and accuracy at 85 mph. In the infield Becht showed athletic feet and displayed arm strength of 76 mph. At the plate Becht hits from the left side out of a crouched setup. He uses a slight leg kick and works the ball to the opposite field well.
