5.17.17 - Michigan commit. Currently ranked No. 28 in the Illinois’ 2018 class. 5-foot-9, 165-pound, lean, athletically built catcher. High-level athlete with advanced tools behind the plate. Extremely agile blocker, routinely forced to block pitches to both sides of the plate; smothers and controls the block,  recovers quick and athletically. Hands are soft, ability to stick pitches in the zone, presents pitches well. Loose, over-the-top arm action, quick, efficient exchange, accurate arm that carries, slight arm-side-run. Gunned down a potential base stealer, 2.04 in game pop time. Offensively, switch-hitter, hit exclusively left-handed on this day. Batted leadoff, dangerous top of the lineup hitter, (has run a 6.63 60 at a past event), speed translates in game. Looks to bunt, can bunt for a hit in sacrifice situations, ran a 3.67 and 3.72 down the line on back-to-back bunts. Contact approach, simple swing, looks to control the barrel from the left side. Highly athletic 2018 catcher.

11.21.16 - Verbally committed to Michigan.
Future Games 2016 - 5-foot-8, 155-pound catcher, thin frame, narrow shoulders, high-level quick-twitch athlete. Ran a 6.63 laser-timed 60, one of the fastest times at the Future Games. Natural athleticism shines behind the plate. Moves extremely well laterally, flexible hips, blocks and recovers well, fires out of the crouch quickly, light on his feet. Above-average arm strength, 78 mph from the crouch. Top pop times ranged between 1.97-2.09. Right-handed hitter, dabbled from the left side during BP and one in-game at-bat. Balanced setup, simple approach, handsy swing, average contact. Registered 86 mph exit velocity.

2/14/16 - 5-foot-9, 165-pound catcher, highly athletic for the position, lean shape with cut muscle. Defensively plays with bounce behind the dish, quick getting to his feet after blocking the baseball, ran a 6.78 laser timed 60. Arm action is short, over the top slot, played with carry, 75 mph out of the crouch. Pop times ranged 2.01-2.11. Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance, short stride, good balance through contact. Mechanical approach, average bat speed, level path. 75 mph exit velocity from the tee.
8.23.15 - Lean athletic shape, projectable at his age, 5-foot-9, 160-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Looks to be one of the early top catching prospects in the state, currently ranked No. 6 in Illinois, lived up to the billing. Plus athlete for his age at his position, ran a 6.89 laser timed 60 and a 4.33 out of the box in BP. Plus defensive skill set for his age. Arm carries well, stays on  line and accurate at 75 mph out of the crouch, short over the top arm action. Hands are soft, handled bullpens with ease. Feet and hands work together out of the chute, quick efficient exchange. Pop time ranged from 2.11-2.18. Offensively hit from the right side, balanced stance, short stride, smooth loading action, athletic pre-pitch. Good balance, hands are quick to the baseball, simple attack of the baseball, at times ball jumped off his bat. 83 mph exit velocity from the tee. High follow 2018 prospect in the PBR coverage area.
5.1.15 - Starting catcher on varsity as freshman; 5-foot-10, 160-pound frame, shows some physicality for age. Overall, plays more mature than age. Defensively, received with soft hands, moves well and displayed directional footwork. Throws with accuracy, 2.15-2.25 pop times, clean release from over the top slot. Offensively, hits from balanced setup, fundamental approach with advanced bat speed and balance for age. Barreled two balls at centerfielder for outs. High follow in the 2018 class.
