3.16.18 - McKendree University commit. 6-foot-1, 180-pound, athletic right-handed pitcher. Works from a ¾ arm slot with a long arm action, finishes upright. Fastball, 81-83 with armside run. Curveball, 11/5 shape, 66-69. Consistently commanded both in the strike zone. Pitched five scoreless innings against Oak Forest, surrendering one hit, while striking out seven and walking two. Induced five ground ball and two fly ball outs.

2.19.17 - 6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed pitcher with a lanky, athletic frame. Works from a high ¾ arm angle with a long arm action. Tall and fall delivery with a closed landing and upright finish. Fastball sat 79-82 mph. Curveball has 11-5 shape at 69-71 mph. Showed feel for his changeup at 73-75 mph for strikes.

6.28.16 - 6-foot, 165-pound right handed hitting two-way player. Offensively, balanced set up, short stride, balance on follow through. Recorded an exit velocity of 81 mph. Fluid rhythm, short level bat path, and flashed bat speed. Defensively, flashed soft hands, clean exchange. Loose arm action, ¾ arm slot. Was clocked at 79 across the infield. 7.51 runner in the 60. On the mound, showed feel for all three pitches. High ¾ arm slot, long arm action, regular effort. Also, smooth rhythm, closed landing. Fastball sat 78-80 mph. Curveball had 11/5 shape with tight movement sitting 68-72. Also featured a changeup with sink sitting 73-76 mph.

7.7.15 - 5-foot-10, 145-pound, two-way player, right-handed hitter. Hits from a balanced stance, short stride, average balance. Good approach, long bat path, 73 mph exit velocity. Defensively showed average hands, clean transfer, long arm action, low ¾ arm slot, 72 mph across the infield. On the mound Boente operated from a ¾ arm slot with repeatability in his delivery. Long arm action, normal effort and some rhythm. Online and upright finish. Fastball clocked at 73 mph. Curveball had 11/5 shape and sat 64-65 mph. Also, threw a change-up with some fade ranging between 64-67 mph.

7/9/14 - 5-foot-6, 120-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder hits from a balanced, slightly crouched setup, toe tap stride, with hands moving back smoothly in load producing 62 mph exit velocity.  Hit most balls to the opposite field in live BP  Defensively, threw 62 mph across the infield and ran an 8.79 60.
