4/29/15 - Currently ranked No. 199 in Illinois’ 2016 class; appears to have made significant strides in game since last year. Athletic 6-foot frame with plenty of room for physical development. Defensively showed athletic actions, moves fluidly and consistently fields the ball in rhythm. Shows present arm strength with athletic arm action. Offensively, hits from balanced setup with quiet mechanics. Utilizes slight leg lift to create rhythm and timing. Demonstrates advanced bat speed with some length in swing.  Delivered a sac-fly to right field and RBI line-drive single up the middle during game. High-follow prospect in the 2016 class.

6/17/14 - 5-foot-11, 145-pound athletic shortstop impressed at the plate and in the field with quality middle infield actions.  Hits from an athletic, balanced setup with a smooth load, occasionally diving towards the plate.  Whips bat through the zone with some extension and finishes high producing 74 mph exit velocity.  Defensively, comes and gets the baseball playing with a hop in his step (almost gallops at times in the field).  Threw 79 mph across the diamond with quick, loose, high ¾ arm action and accuracy.  Hands were average with a fluid footwork and a clean exchange.  Ran 7.6 in the 60.
