5/17/13 - No. 116 in Illinois’ class of 2013. Alcorn State commit. Big bodied left-handed pitcher, strong lower half. Arm works from a ¾ slot, slight slinging action, lower half tends to open early. Fastball stayed at 83-85 mph, touching 87 mph, pounds the zone. Breaking ball worked at 63-67 mph, mixed in well, showed control. Excellent mound presence, competitor. Sneed showed a good fastball breaking ball mix that kept hitters off balance. He showed an intense nature on the mound with a high level of competitiveness.

Sneed is a physical 6-foot-2, 200-pound two-way talent who graded out well both on the mound and as a position player. The left-hander has wide shoulders and a fluid arm; his fastball sat at 79-80 mph, topping at 81, with some sink. At the plate, Sneed showcased pull-side power from the left side. Using a strong lower half and quick hands, the ball jumps off his bat. Defensively, he moves nimbly around the bag at first base while showcasing soft hands.
