Transferred to Millikin from Wabash Valley CC (IL).

10.12.16 - Verbally committed to Wabash Valley JC.
8/16/16 - 6-foot, 220-pound right-handed hitting catcher with a strong frame especially in the lower half. At the plate hits from a balanced setup with a smooth load and short stride. Gap to gap hitter with a long, level swing path and fluid rhythm. Showed a fast bat with good balance. Showed strength thru contact with 94 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.96. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top arm slot. Throws showed carry with a quick transfer and release. Popped 1.97-2.06 and threw 78 mph from the crouch. Flexibility in the lower half receiving with soft hands.

2/14/16 - Strong physical build, 6-foot, 225-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Profiles as an offensive catcher with a power bat. Hits from a slightly open stance, average stride, loads hands back, good balance. Strong bat, fast bat speed, slight uphill path, powerful stroke, looks to lift baseballs with power to pull side. 92 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively showed arm strength out of the crouch at 80 mph, short arm action, showed accuracy with carry. Showed well blocking the baseball, 1.97-2.04 pop time, improved catching skills since last seeing him. 8.04 runner in the 60.
Future Games 2015 - Physical 5-foot-11, 215-pound imposing right-handed hitter had a Future Games best 99 mph exit velocity off of a tee. Also, took one of the most eye-opening batting practices of the day. Consistently, showcased pull-side pop, barreling baseballs deep to left and left-center field. Excellent balance and bat speed throughout contact. Gets a lot out of his lower half. Went 1-3 in each of the first two games of the Future Games with a lot of hard contact outs. One of his hits was a line-drive double down the right field line. Defensively, continued to impress with a strong arm. Clocked at 80 mph from the crouch. Eddington had pop times ranging from 1.94-2.11 during the workout day.

7/9/14 - 5-foot-10, 190-pound strong, barrel-chested right-handed hitting catcher advanced with one of the more advanced bats we’ve seen out of a 2017 prospect.  Eddington’s first swing during live batting practice was a towering homer to deep left field over the batting cages at O’Fallon’s Blazier Field.  He subsequently left the yard in foul territory two more times.  Hits from an open athletic setup, hands loading back smoothly, with a long stride and lower half/hips moving explosively to the baseball.  Showed advanced bat speed for any age, producing 87 mph exit velocity from slightly uphill bat path, looking to pull mostly.  Was the starting catcher on Mount Zion’s varsity as a freshman.  Defensively, throws from a short, over the top arm action with carry to second, producing pop times between 2.11-2.19.  Possesses plenty of arm strength at 78 mph from the crouch, so needs to quicken up feet and speed up transfer.  Ran an 8.00 60.

6/4/14 - Currently unranked.  5-foot-9, 170-pound frame, with thick, developed lower half.  Starting varsity catcher as a freshman.  Advanced catch-and -throw skills for age.  Shows above average arm strength for age with good carry on throws to second base.  2.18-2.4 pop times in between innings.  Hits from a slightly open stance and slight crouch.  Shows bat speed for age.  Below average runner 5.09 to first on bunt.

6/11/15 - 5-foot-11, 215-pound, strong build, catchers body, right-handed hitter. Hits from a tall, open stance, smooth load, short stride. Explosive bat speed, gets extension, pull side approach, 91 mph exit velocity off a tee. Behind the plate displayed soft hands, good feel for the position, short arm action, over-the-top slot, with carry, pop timed ranged from 1.94-2.00, 78 mph from the crouch. Ran a 8.06 60-time.
