The right-handed hitter has strong hands and a simple operation in the box paired with a short, flat swing. He muscled out a pull-side home run in his second at-bat to break a scoreless tie and ultimately decided the game. Defensively, he is a steady presence at first base and shows above-average flexibility for the position. An uncommitted name to continue to follow.
Mazanowski hit 5-for-13 (.385) with one home run, one double, and seven RBIs. He added two runs scored and three walks, and he currently leads the team with eight RBIs this season.

INF Miles Mazanowski (Lane Tech, 2027) is a physical right-handed hitter to follow in the state. Currently listed at 6-foot-3, 200-pounds with present equally distributed strength, he has plenty of loud tools to pair with the raw power. On top of his near triple-digit EVs, he also boasts above-average hand and bat-speed. Finished the week 2-for-6 with a loud double, two RBIs, two runs scored and a walk. He also has well above-average arm-strength, topping at 89 mph across the infield with steady actions to pair.

INF/RHP Miles Mazanowski (Lane Tech, 2027) is another physical right-handed hitter, standing at 6-foot-2, 195-pounds with round shoulders and strength throughout his frame. At the plate, he showed big power and strength at impact with an uphill path and intent to lift the baseball, staying balanced throughout and controlling his body well with some aggression, topping out at 98 mph for his EV with an average of 90 mph (T338’). His BLAST metrics were also extremely impressive, averaging 74 mph for his bat-speed and 22.3 mph for his hand-speed. At the plate, the right-handed hitter has a loose and athletic swing that stays balanced throughout with a flat path, reaching up to 98 mph for his max EV while averaging 91 mph (T366’). He has soft hands with easy actions on the infield, moving well up the middle and also showcasing a strong arm (T85 mph). Mazanowski later would get on the mound and throw the hardest fastball for the event, topping out at 84 mph with carry through the zone (avg. 17.5” IVB). His slider looked to be a potent out-pitch at 71-73 mph with sharp 9/3 shape and high-spin (avg. 2662 rpm). Mazanowski is an arm to keep tabs on heading into the spring.
