9/23/20

Heartland Scout Day: Six-foot-4, slender built righty with fastball up to 91. Long arm action, hooks in back with high elbow to a 3/4 release point. Very good arm speed out front. Raw delivery in need of improved lines. Below avg slider on this look at 74-76 mph, lacked depth, shorter break, but did show good feel to spin. On days his arm action is synced and he catches out front consistently, the slider is likely to be on another level. Fair feel for a straight changeup at 79-80 mph. Finishes out front with the pitch real well. High ceiling prospect with some cleanup to delivery and arm action needed in order to gain more consistency with breaker and control.

2/23/19

Positional Profile: RHP Present projectability.
Body: 6-foot-3, 155-pounds. Long limbed and high-waisted, thin frame with upside.
Delivery: Quick tempo, tall and fall delivery, high front side, directionally in-line, closed toe, athletic finish with rhythm.

FB: T88, 86-88 mph. Lively out of the hand, late run, played up.
SL: 65-68 mph. 10/4 shape, early break, near fastball arm speed, worked to glove side of the plate, around it at times.
