Hedge is a strong, athletically built left-hander who established himself as a prospect to pay close attention to at the PBR Preseason All-State Showcase last February, when he showed an easy mid-80s fastball. He carried the momentum into the spring, as he posted an 8-1 record for the Trevians as a junior. Hedge is also a standout defensive lineman for the football team.
