Verbally committed to Wabash Valley JC.

For the past year or so, Graham has been one of the best shortstops, defensively, in Illinois’ 2022 class. Naturally, this has made him one of the state’s best pound-for-pound prospects in the state, and the gains he’s made offensively have only just elevated his stock that much more. At our PBR at The Rock Fall Championships, Graham showed greater balance in the batter’s box with a little more pre-pitch rhythm that allowed him to sync up hard-hit contact more fluidly. His offensive progress, combined with his advanced middle-infield actions, make him a need-to-know uncommitted player to seek out in the region.

Positional Profile: SS/2B
Body: 5-10, 175-pounds. Strong, wide shoulders.
Hit: RHH. Simple, balanced stance, pre-pitch rhythm, smooth into the back leg, short stride.  Loose hands, whippy barrel, level swing, line drive type hitter, fluid rhythm.
Power: 91.78 max exit velocity, averaged 84.9 mph. 323’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 91 mph. Short loose arm action, over-the-top slot.
Defense: Small pre-pitch hop, quick, fluid footwork, soft hands, clean exchange, athletically plays through the baseball, can throw from multiple slots when needed.
Run: 6.75 runner in the 60. 

Positional Profile: SS. Emerged as one of the top uncommitted shortstops in the state.
Body: 5-10, 170-pounds. Athletic frame.
Hit: RHH. Balanced setup, smooth hand-load, small leg-lift trigger, short stride and fluid pre-pitch actions. Maintains balance throughout, easy effort, barrel stays in zone a long time, consistent hard contact, feel for the barrel and used the whole field.
Power: 82 mph exit velocity from the tee. Max exit velocity of 92.67 MPH during BP, max distance of 319 feet, both via TrackMan.
Arm: RH. INF - 88 mph. High 3/4 arm slot, short, loose action, arm plays accurate with carry across the infield.
Defense: Highly-athletic infield actions, plays light on his feet, ranges well, maintains body control. Soft hands, clean/quick exchange, athletic double play turn, ability to change arm angles when needed and showed advanced body control on the move.
Run: 7.02 runner in the 60.
