Hits from the left side of the dish, second in the batting order. Confident hitter, takes pitches well and in rhythm. Singled twice and walked in the game. Hands are low, quiet, takes a direct path to the ball. Seems comfortable staying inside the baseball. Hit two balls hard the other way, one of them thrown well on the inner half of the plate. Defensively, showed a smooth, clean transfer to the throwing arm, as well as the ability to throw from different angles with accuracy and some carry.

2/16/14 6-foot, 175-pound left handed hitting outfielder/infielder, long athletic frame. Defensively moved well both in the outfield and infield, outfield arm played at 77 mph out of his crowhop. On the infield arm worked better at 79 mph across, stays low through the baseball, quick clean exchange, excellent body control. Offensively hits from the left side, balanced stance, short stride, repeatable swing. Occasional pop in his bat, above average bat speed. 84 mph exit velocity from the tee. Also ran a 7.28 60.

10/20/13 - 6-foot, 170-pound left hand hitting, multi-positional player. Defensively he showed quality actions and movements with quick feet. Throws it with a loose arm at 73 mph across the infield and 79 mph from the outfield. Ran a 7.46 60. At the plate has an open stance, short stride and solid balance. Has a short, level swing with pull side approach. Exit velocity was 81 mph off a tee.
