6.18.15 - 5-foot-11, 180-pound catcher, average solid build, compact, solid lower half. Good catch and throw prospect, short over the top arm action, accurate arm, on the bag, 77 mph out of the crouch. Showed soft hands, quick clean exchange. Pop times ranged 1.93-2.07. Right-handed hitter, open stance, short to even stride. Line drive type hitter, mid to opposite field approach. Fast bat, 86 mph exit velocity from the tee.

4.11.15 - 5-foot-11, 180-pound, right-handed hitting catcher with a strong athletic build. Showed flexibility in the lower half setting up as a low target for pitchers. Solid receiver with catch and throw potential. Strong accurate throws between innings. Offensively showed good plate coverage and the ability to work counts. Short, line drive swing path making solid contact

2.15.15 - 5-foot-11, 180-pound right-handed hitting C, strong lower half, hits from a balanced setup, short stride, turns front foot in to load hips, back elbow raised up, hands load back/up, long, uphill bat path, fluidity to swing, impressed with up the middle, line drive approach during batting practice, 83 mph exit velocity off the tee. Defensively, impressed behind the plate with pop times from 1.93-2.01, 78 mph out of the crouch from short, athletic, over-the-top arm action. Soft hands receiving during bullpens, well above average athlete behind the plate. Runs a 7.37 60.
6/17/14 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound catcher with strong build impressed tying for the top pop time of the event at 1.98.  Pop times generally ranged between 2.04 and 2.18, throwing 74 mph from the crouch from ¾ arm action.  Also impressed during bullpen session, receiving with soft hands and quick feet blocking the baseball.  Hit from a wide setup with very little hand movement, raising back elbow to load/coil core producing level swing with some power to his pull side and 77 mph exit velocity.  Ran 7.76 seconds in the 60.

1/20/13 - Average frame, 5-foot-10, 145-pound catcher. Defensively shows quick feet behind the plate, arm shows carry and stays on line (71 mph), solid receiver, blocking skills will catch up. Pop times ranged in the 2.3’s. Offensively showed some extension, arm bar tendencies at load.
10/28/12 - Nozicka is a 5-foot-10, 145-pound catcher. Nozicka showed the makings of a strong arm (75 mph) behind the plate as his best pop time was a 2.09. His arm showed carry, using an over the top slot. He hits from a tall narrow stance while using a short bat path. Nozicka showed an advanced defensive prowess that will make him one of the better receivers in his class.
