6/19/14 - 6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed hitting outfielder hit from a wide balanced setup with minimal stride getting good extension, especially to his pull side, creating 84 mph exit velocity. Threw 82 mph from the outfield from long, high ¾ arm action with accuracy. Ran 7.21 in the 60.

10/20/13 - 6-foot-1, 170-pound outfielder. At the plate he has a wide, balanced stance with no stride. Uses the lower half well. Path is slightly uphill with solid barrel whip. Demonstrated well above average bat speed, exit velocity off the tee was 89 mph. Defensively he showed strong outfield actions. Throws with a short arm and solid accuracy at 74 mph with carry. Ran a 7.19 60.

1/20/13 - Athletic build, 6-foot-1, 170-pound two-way player. Excellent outfield insticts, advanced defensive actions, plays through the ball well, uses crow hop, transfers cleanly. Arm works well, high ¾ arm slot, arm shows accuracy, 78 mph arm strength. Hits out of open stance, smooth load, short stride, quiet approach, shows some bat speed, 80 mph exit velocity, swing shows extension through baseball, power potential. On the mound, delivery has rhythm, high ¾ arm slot. Fastball sits 77-79, slight run, shows control. Curveball works 11/5 plane at 66-68 mph. Changeup stayed down, 68-72 mph, similar arm speed to fastball.

10/28/12 - Burnette has an athletic frame at 6-foot, 168-pounds. In the outfield he displayed a long loose arm action resulting in 80 mph throws on target. Offensively, he hits from a wide stance using a no stride approach. He showed solid balance and extension through the zone on a level path. On the mound, he threw a 76-78 mph fastball from a ¾ arm slot with long loose actions.
