5.16.15 - Wiry thin 5-foot-10, 160-pound right-hander. Started the second game of doubleheader and threw well in the first inning, but got knocked out of game when the first batter of the second inning lined a ball off his hip. Quick, whippy arm, high-3/4 slot, works slightly across body, fastball showed some cut at times in the 80-83 range, topping at 86 once. Recorded two strikeouts in first inning. In small sample size, breaking ball has more 10/4 slurve action in the 72-73 range. � Positionally, he is a left-handed hitter who tracked down a deep ball in centerfield with natural ease.

5.23.14 - Currently unranked in Illinois’ 2016 class.  Listed at 5-foot-10, 158-pounds, but may be smaller.  Impressed in complete game effort against state’s 2^nd ranked team. Throws across body from high ¾ arm slot. Repeats delivery well, pounding the strike zone with three pitches; two walks and one strikeout on the day.  Fastball currently sits at 76-79 with cut to glove side. Curveball showed 12/6 action at times, sweepy at others lacking shape, thrown in the 63-65 mph range.  Also flashed 70-73 mph change. Someone to watch down the road as physical maturation catches up with current pitchability.
