Grand slam down the right-field line was aided by the wind a bit, but still line drive hit hard the opposite way. Hits from a tall, slightly open setup, short stride, well above average bat speed (86 mph exit velocity off the tee at Feb. Preseason All-State Showcase).

Long, level bat path produced line drives from gap-to-gap during live batting practice, up the middle approach. Defensively, threw 75 mph across the diamond from short, over-the-top arm slot, soft hands fielding the baseball. Ran a 7.85 60. On the mound fastball sat 75-76 mph with some effort from same arm slot. 62-64 mph curveball flashed 11/5 shape, thrown for strikes consistently. 70-73 mph changeup was thrown down in the zone. Mechanically, works slightly across his body, lands slightly closed.

On the mound threw strikes will all three pitches from tall and fall type delivery, lands closed, slightly across his body. Fastball sat 75-76 mph with occasional cutting action from same loose arm action.
