Parkland JC commit. 6-foot-1, 215-pound right-handed pitcher with sturdy, durable frame, thick and strong lower half. Missed start in Fremd’s opener dealing with illness; started against Prairie Ridge. Displays confidence on the mound, gets the ball and goes to control at-bats. Quick-paced delivery, front side opens early at times, works out of a high ¾ slot with notable arm strength. Works off the fastball, pitched at 83-85 mph but can run it up to 88-89 when necessary. Fastball, heavy, arm-side run, thrown for strikes. Curveball, flashed late bite, earned swings and misses, 72-76 mph. Changeup, some arm-side run/fade, 76-78 mph. Cruised through four innings, and ran into trouble in the fifth; finished with 4.2 innings pitched, allowed two earned runs on three hits, two walks, and struck out six.ect.

9.16.18 - Unsigned senior prospect, 6-foot, 210-pound right-handed pitcher, sturdy durable build, strong lower half. Confident mound presence, works fast and controls the pace of play. Uptempo delivery, slight drop and drive style, repeats and pounds the zone with multiple pitches. Above average arm strength, works out of a short high ¾ window. Worked predominantly off the fastball which played up with above average command away, heavy finish at times ranged 84-89 mph depending on counts, mostly 86-88 mph, touched one 90 mph.
