10/07/25
Verbally committed to Heartland CC.
6/10/25

Uncommitted. Stands in at a lean and athletic 6-foot, 175-pound frame with room for additional strength. Came up big for SHG in the 6th, bringing in the go-ahead run. At the plate, tall and narrow stance, little movement pre-stride, features a toe-tap trigger. Simple swing that works direct to the ball, slightly uphill path, tallied two hits on the weekend. Defensively, quality actions with a confidence glove and accurate arm across the diamond. Uncommitted name to follow.

5/07/25

Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 87 in the state. Athletic 6-foot, 175-pound frame with room to add strength. Started at short and hit out of the four-hole. Butler went 1-for-4 at the plate on Wednesday. The right-handed hitter operates from an upright, balanced stance with a small leg lift. Loose, fluid hands with a slight uphill bat path that is direct to the ball with bat speed. Showed a strong arm on the left side. Works around the ball on defense.

3/31/25

Uncommitted. Lean, athletic frame at 6-foot, 175-pounds with seemingly more strength to come. Started at shortstop and batted third for the Cyclones. Immediately impressed with his actions during in-and-out, moved around the field with ease and athleticism, and was a loud communicator throughout the entirety of their pre-game. Confident feet and glove with a clean glove-to-hand transfer - accurate arm across. Right-handed hitter at the plate, taller setup with slight crouch, balanced into a small and quiet leg lift. Hands worked directly to the baseball with present bat speed through the zone, showing a slightly uphill path. Barreled a ball down the right-field line for a double - athletic gait around the bases. An uncommitted name-to-know in the state’s junior class.

2/21/24

INF/C Carson Butler (Sacred Heart Griffin, 2026) is an upside right-handed hitter to know in the 2026 class. Projectable build at 6-foot-1, 170-pounds, lean strength with levers and a high waist. The right-handed hitter has an efficient path to the ball, staying through the hitting zone for a long time while using his levers well to elevate, power projects as he continues to fill out. He stood out equally as much on the other side of the ball, working with a clean glove-to-hand operation behind the plate while working in-line on throws to second, producing a pop-time as low as 1.95 seconds with a top velocity of 75 mph. On the infield, Butler has steady hands with fluid footwork, appearing comfortable in that position as well with a max velocity of 80 mph across the diamond.
