Lippens finished the game with the win on the mound as he struck out four batters through four innings while not allowing an earned run. Right-hander operates from a simple delivery with a high leg lift with tuck. Drop/drive approach while using the mound for plane. Deceptive, short-arm action from a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 82-84 with arm-side run. Curveball sat 73-74 with sharp, late action that flashed.

RHP, Carter Lippens, Dunlap, 2027 Uncommitted. 5-foot-10, 170-pound frame. Came out of the ‘pen and impressed, working quickly and attacking the zone with all of his pitches. The right-hander has a simple delivery with a medium leg-swing into a slightly tilted balance point, staying in-line down the mound with slight drop/drive in his lower-half. Hides the ball a bit on the backside, high ¾ window. His fastball played at 82-84 mph with slight arm-side run, setting up a curveball he could land under the zone for S/M, showing confidence in the pitch at 71-76 mph. He also flashed a splitter with slight drop and some fade, 76 mph.
