FB: T87, 85-87 mph. Rise/run, efficient; late arm-side life. T1905, 1773 average rpm.
CB: 70-73 mph. Feel, intent; 10/4 shape. Two-plane, projects for swing-and-miss. T2461, 2379 average rpm.
CH: 75-76 mph. Deceptive and at arm speed; fade/run, feel. T1880, 1771 average rpm.

RHP Cooper Chapple (Waubonsie Valley, 2027) is an uncommitted arm to continue to follow after the event. Presenting a wiry frame at 6-foot-3, 165-pounds with room to mature physically in the coming years, he showed an intriguing three-pitch mix. His fastball sat 85-87 mph with arm-side run (avg. 16.4” HM). He tossed in a 70-74 mph curveball with above-average spin (avg. 2379 rpm), and rounded things out with a 73-76 mph changeup that displayed significant fade (avg. 17.6” HM). Chapple will be a name to watch this spring.

RHP Cooper Chapple (Waubonsie Valley, 2026) came to his first Prep Baseball event and showed very well. The right-hander lean, wiry 6-foot-3, 160-pounder sat 84-85 mph with a spin efficiency of 96%. His changeup sat 69-71 mph with an average HM of 15.2 inches. Chapple’s curveball shows a lot of potential as it sits 65-68 mph with an average spin rate of 2339 RPM and an average HM of -18.8 inches while having an average IVB of -12.7 inches.
