Spoon River CC commit. Physical 6-foot-1, 180 pound frame with room to fill out. Started behind the plate and hit out of the cleanup spot. On Friday, Davis went 2-for-3 with a walk, driving in one run - two hard singles to the pull-side. In the box he works from an upright stance with a slight knee bend and toe-tap trigger. Short, compact swing with a pull-side approach. Finished the weekend going 4-for-7 with two RBI, and showed multiple ‘A’ swings throughout the weekend. Easy power from the right side.

Hit: RHH. Wide and closed off stance, lower hands, short leg kick, quiet movements before pitch. Loose swing, strong with easy pop off the bat, flatter path through the zone, flashed hard line-drives and some elevated contact pull-side and middle.  71.4 mph bat speed with 12g of rotational acceleration.
Power: 99 mph max exit velocity (83.7 avg.); 328-foot max batted distance.
Arm: RH. C - 78 mph. Short action, high 3/4 slot, accurate throws down to second.

C/1B Keaton Davis (Marquette Academy) has a strong 5-foot-11, 207-pound frame with some strength. At the plate, the right-handed hitter posted a top exit velocity of 99 mph, the highest on the day. His swing is longer through the zone with a flat path, creating easy jump off the barrel and bat-speed (T79.5 mph).
