. Keck has consistently shown one of the strongest arms in the class since our earliest evals on this group, and his overall feel has taken a step up since last summers' appearance at the Top Prospect Games North, along with a slight tick up in velocity to now reach into the 90s on his best bullet. The delivery still has some levers flying around but the arm gets deep into scap retraction allowing it time to pick up speed as it gets to an OTT slot. The fastball came out at 87-90 with occasional arm-side run. His slider is loose with big, slurvey shape at 72-75, and he showed feel to land it. The change is developing at 75-78. He profiles as a back-end bullpen arm w big arm strength and two usable, avg to better pitches present.
3/03/24

A high-waisted, 6-foot, 165 pound right-hander with solid arm strength for the class - Keck worked his fastball at 83-85 mph, showing improved command compared to multiple looks in 2023. The arm swing is short, with some deception, and the arm speed is solid for the class. Keck showed a slurvey, tightly-spun, 71-72 mph breaking ball that showed two-plane shape with significant horizontal. The changeup is still developing at the moment, a 70-73 mph offering. Keck offers a firm fastball for the class, with an ability to spin a solid breaking ball, and the improved command is an encouraging sign.

10/03/23

‘27 RHP Brady Keck (Canes Midwest National) - 6-foot-1, 165 pound right-hander. Quicker lift with short, quick arm action. Creates sink on the fastball, up to 82 mph. Fastball induced ground ball contact. Flashed a slider with sweep. Development of CH will pay dividends. Good ‘27 arm to follow.
