Swing Mechanics: Uses a toe tap load with a somewhat long swing and keeps his barrel through the zone well.
Hit: Average bat to ball ability and good barrel control.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: Shows potential at the plate. Should be able to develop into a gap to gap threat as he matures.
Field: 2.00-2.11 pop time. Behind the plate he shows quick feet and a clean exchange. Quick arm.
Throw: 75 mph from behind the plate.
Run: 5.11 home to first.
Defensive Projection: Projects well as a defensive catcher at the next level. Good raw arm strength. Will need to improve overall quickness and footwork going forward.

A catching/middle infield prospect with a sturdy, athletic frame. Got a look at him on the mound in this tournament. On the hill, he works with up-tempo pace to his delivery. Arm action is compact with noticeable quickness to arm through high-¾ slot. Worked off his heavy, 70-75 mph fastball that will stay mostly true through the zone. His go to secondary offering was the 11/5 shaped breaking ball that graded out as an above average offering. Throws both offerings with conviction/intent. As a position player he is a power bat from the left side with a balanced approach. Impressed behind the dish as well with his blocking and receiving abilities.

At the plate he tarts in a balanced setup from the right side. Loading sequence is simple and rhythmic. Barrel works on an uphill plane with natural loft. Swings with intent and showed the ability to find the gaps. Showed solid feel for the barrel. Starts in a mid crouch behind the dish. Footwork is mechanically sound and transfer is clean. Should see increases in pop times as he matures and actions get quicker.
