1/27/13:
6-foot-3 inch, 185 pound SS who shows good athleticism.  Brockhouse possesses good arm strength at 89 mph across the diamond.  His hands work, and displays good lateral quickness, posting an event best 4.28 in the pro agility drill, which tests a player’s speed in changing direction.  He runs a 6.77 60, which was the second best time at the event.  At the plate he starts with a tall, open stance, and uses a high leg kick for timing.  He barrels up most balls, showing projectable power.  He had an event best 93 mph exit velo.  On the mound he possesses a quick, loose arm sitting 88-89 mph with his fastball, touching 91.  The breaking ball, currently a slurve, is 74-77 mph, and thrown consistently for a strike.  He shows enough athleticism and tools to develop the breaking ball into a swing-and-miss pitch.  Brockhouse is a legitimate two-way prospect at the next level.

Knuckle: 72-74

Brockhouse is a 6-foot-2 inch, 170 pound sophomore with good athleticism and some speed running a 7.1 sixty at the Goshen event.  From the field Brockhouse displays good hands and defensive actions.  Across the diamond he shows good arm strength at 83 mph.  At the plate he shows a solid base with good bat speed.  His swing plane is level to slightly uphill producing some pop.  On the mound he shows a high three quarter arm slot with solid mechanics for a sophomore allowing him to stay on top of the ball.  His fastball is consistently 82-83 mph, topping out at 84 mph.  He shows two off speed pitches; a 68-73 mph breaking ball and 70-75 mph change up with some sink action.
