Wilke, only a freshman, featured one of the highest offensive ceilings for the Statesmen and should be one to follow moving forward. The long-levered, 6-foot-3, 175-pound, right-handed hitter has plenty of room for continued physical development and stood out throughout his round of BP. It's an easy, loose swing with minimal effort and all kinds of present whip through the zone. Wilke consistently looked to lift the baseball and he peaked at 96.4 mph off the bat with a max distance of 358’. Behind the plate he played clean and easy out of the crouch with a loose arm that topped at 82 mph. He also flashed a low pop time of 1.92.

Body: 6-2, 160-pounds. Long, athletic build with significant room for strength gains
Hit: RHH. Tall, slightly open setup with rhythm in the hands. Hands flow well into the load and gets to a coiled position in the back hip. Tends to get too forward at launch causing some push in the upper half. Tons of upside in the bat

Arm: RH. C-79 mph. Short, loose arm action - one of the best C arms at the event
Defense: 1.88-1.94 pop times. Legit catch & throws skills with fast exchange and one of the best C arms at the event. Flexible hips when receiving allows him to steal the bottom of the zone strike. Soft, quiet hands. One of the best defensive C at the event.
Run: 7.42 runner in the 60.

Hit: (RHH) Athletic. Began in a tall stance with a smooth load, then used a small leg kick. Quick efficient bat speed. Good extension on his finish, loose upward swing. Gap to gap approach.
Power: 87.8 mph exit velocity, average 79.2 mph. 67.9 mph bat speed average. 21.1 mph hand speed average.
Defense: (C) 1.98-2.05 pop times. Soft hands, quick footwork, twitchy exchange. Athletic. Some flexibility and wide setup. (IF) Soft hands, fluid footwork, clean exchange. Solid. Laterally, his movements were quick.
Arm: 71 mph infield velocity. 76 mph catcher velocity. Short quick arm action, high ¾ slot.
