6/9/15: The 6-foot-3 225 pound outfielder ran a 7.5 60 yd dash.  Arm action was loose and throws had accuracy.  Footwork was fluid and exchange was clean.  Velocity from the outfield was 83.  Offensively, Jacob produced an exit velo of 101.  Setup is balanced with a short load.  Backside is explosive and hands were quick.  Jacob gets good extension and produced line drives during batting practice.

4/16/15 GAME NOTES: A 6-foot-3, 225 pound right-hander, Dickson threw two innings, allowing four runs, a walk, and struck out one.  His fastball sat 77-78, touching 80 a couple of times.  Breaking ball shows an 11/5 shape with late break at 66-69 while the changeup was 67-69.  Tendency to miss up in the zone. 

1/3/15: 6-foot-3, 220 pound possesses a strong, athletic frame.  Actions are a little raw, but possesses tons of projectability.  Uses a long arm action from the outfield and was 81 mph.  Average hands with above average footwork.  Plays through the ball with some athleticism.  Ran a 7.33-60 at the event.  At the plate possesses tons of bat speed with barrel whip.  Registered an event best exit velo of 100 mph.  Starts balanced with a smooth load.  Stride is short with an explosive lower half.  Good approach, gets to extension.  Present pull-side power.  

12/7/14: 6-foot-3, 215 pounder possesses a strong, athletic frame with wide shoulders.  Uses a long arm action and ¾ slot in the field.  From the OF was 78 mph with some accuracy.  Possesses average hands  and feet.  Ran a 7.44-60.  At the plate starts in an athletic setup with a smooth load back.  Short stride with an explosive lower half.  Showcased quick bat speed with a long, level path to the ball.  Pull-side hitter with present power.   Top hand wrap.  Registered an event high exit velo at 98 mph.  

PITCHING: 6-foot-3, 205 pounder pitches from a ¾ slot with average arm speed.  Long, loose arm action.  Tall to fall delivery.  Fastball shows some sink action at 77-78 and kept in the zone.  11/5 breaking ball shows late break and thrown for a strike at 62-65 mph.  Changeup is thrown with near fastball arm speed at 68-70 mph.   

10/18/14:  6-foot-3, 205 pound righty possesses a strong frame with wide shoulders.  Average arm speed with a long, loose arm action.  73-75 mph fastball was thrown for a strike with slight cut.  Sweeping breaking ball at 63-66 shows early break, but inconsistent.  63-66 mph changeup has occasional sink and thrown for a strike.  Slows arm down when throwing his off-speed.  

 6-foot-3, 205 pound Junior was 74 from the outfield from a high ¾ slot.  Showcased average hands defensively.  Lacks quick feet.  Plays through the baseball.  Ran a 7.44-60. Offensively, loads back using a short stride.  Gets some use of the lower half with overall good balance throughout the swing.  Bat speed is quick.  Long, level path to the baseball.  Gap to gap power with good rhythm throughout.  Registered an exit velo of 93 mph.
