2017 Spring Scout Blog:  Butler signee. 6-foot-3, 210 pound first baseman hit a shot to left field over tall fence in Tuesday's win.  Tall setup with simple load is repeatable.  Gets into good position after the short stride.  Fast bat speed.  Line drive hitter with ability ot lift the ball.  Above average first baseman has sure hands and good feel for the position.   

10/18/15: Strong frame at 6-foot-2, 208 pounds.  Ran a 7.47-60 and was 73 across the infield with accuracy.  Solid defender around the bag with fluid footwork.  At the plate hits from an athletic setup with a smooth load.  Stride was short.  Shows good balance in the swing.  Possesses above average bat speed from a level path.  Ability to drive the gaps.  Recorded a high exit velocity of 88 mph.  

6/25/15: The 6-foot-2 205 pound corner infielder has a balanced setup with back load.  Stride is short and hands are fast. Possesses gap power. Exit velocity was 90mph. Strong hitter with some pop.  Defensively, hands are average and footwork is fluid.  Throws were accurate with average arm strength.

9/21/14: 6-foot-2, 192 pound sophomore possesses a strong frame with wide shoulders.  Showcased soft hands with a clean exchange.  Exchange is clean and displayed good feet for his size.  Offensively, starts open with high hands and loads back.  Stride is short with above average bat speed.  Gets to extension and showcased the ability to drive the gaps.  Good balance throughout.  Registered an exit velo of 86 mph.  

7/29/14: 6 foot 1 inch, 187 pounds, 7.54/60, Strong  and athletic player with good hands at 3b, short arm thrower with a high ¾ slot (73 mph). Hits from a balanced stance with a short stride and a slight top hand wrap.
