Position: C/3B

Body: 5-foot-10, 175-pound lean build.

Hit: (LHH) Starts in an open crouched stance with an arm bar wrapping load, then uses a short stride. High finish, loose swing. Base hit approach.

Power: 91 mph exit velocity, average 84.38 mph.

Defense: (C) 2.01-2.12 pop times. Soft hands, quick rhythmic footwork, clean exchange. Had staggered setup.

Arm: 70 mph catcher velocity. Compact arm action.


Speed: 8.39 (60-yard).



Nick Turner: C/3B, (2022) Covington, IN. 5-foot-10, 175-pound solid frame. In the box, the left-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 81 mph. Track Man Exit Velo 86.49. Begins in an open stance with a smooth load, then uses a toe tap to start his swing. Has Short swing plane and has high finish. While catching, recorded pop times of 2.07-2.16, in the infield, had smooth footwork and a quick twitchy exchange. Best position velocity throwing to second was registered at 70 mph. Has an-over-the-top slot. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 8.61. 


Richmond High School, Class of 2022; 5-foot-9, 165-pound C/3B. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 75 mph. He starts with his weight even and his bat flat; has a small load and uses bat tilt. His swing plane is level; finishes his swing with a clean, one-handed finish. While catching, his pop time was registered at 2.07; his throw downs to second were maxed at 68 mph. His setup is wide and slightly staggered. He showed a quick transfer and consistent feet on his throw downs. He clocked a 60 time of 8.73 at the event.  

7/24/18:  Smaller framed 2022 C/3B hits from the left side. Uses open setup in the box. Slight toe tap trigger. Bat path is level to slightly uphill through the zone. Showed ability to use the whole field during his round of BP. Posted an exit velo of 73. In the INF showed choppy footwork at times, did play through the baseball. Arm strength across the diamond was 73. Behind the dish looks to be a sound receiver. Exchange is clean, pops ranged from 2.23-2.32.
