6/25/15: The 6-foot-3 205 pound pitcher sat 82-84 with his fastball, Fastball was thrown with some cut for strikes.  Breaking ball was thrown at 67-68 with gradual break.  Delivery has some effort but good rhythm.  Arm speed is quick from a short 3/4 arm action.  Shoulders tend to fly open.  Lands open.  Threw a lot of strikes. 

4/30/15 GAME NOTES: 
6 foot – 2 inches tall and 185 pounds, the junior right hander throws from a low ¾ arm slot. He has three pitches, fastball – 84-86 mph with arm side run, tight spinning slider – 74-75 mph , and a changeup – 72-73 mph, that he throws for  strikes and is confident enough to throw each of them in any count.  He is a very smart kid with tireless work effort and leadership skills. Also plays football.

PITCHING-6-foot-2, 199 pounds pitches from a ¾ slot with average arm speed.  Fastball was shows occasional run at 82-84, up to 85.  Sweeping 10/4 breaking ball at 65-66 with gradual movement.  Changeup is thrown from a low ¾ slot with arm side run and sink, kept in the zone at 71-73. 

6-foot-2, 199 pound 1B showcased average hands defensively.  Plays through the ball well.  Slow footwork.  Across the diamond was 84 mph with carry.  Offensively, starts wide.  Loads back, hands drop.  Leg kick, hips explode.  Stays balanced.  Possesses quick bat speed with a good approach.  Gets to extension with fluid rhythm.  Gap to gap hitter, consistent hard contact.  Recorded a high exit velo of 90 mph.   

6-foot-2, 198 pounder possesses a strong, athletic frame.  Pitches from a ¾ slot with quick arm speed and a long arm action.  Tendency to rush the delivery and change arm slots.  Fastball was heavy with some sink at 81-83.  Slows his arm down on the 10/4 breaking ball which sits 76-77 with late break.  Changeup was erratic in the zone at 71-72.  

 A 6-foot-2, 198 pound Junior 1B showcased average hands defensively with good footwork around the bag.  Exchange is clean and plays through the baseball.  Across the diamond was 80 mph.  At the plate uses an aggressive approach with raw explosiveness and lots of movement. Starts balanced and uses a big leg kick.  Has quick hands with pull-side power.  Registered an exit velo of 86 mph.
