6-foot-1, 205-pound C / 1B with a 91 mph exit velocity and a pop time of 2.00-2.04. At the plate, starts with his bat vertical, his weight on his back foot and his elbows in; has a slight load in his hands. Uses leg kick for power and has a level swing path. At catcher, starts in a balanced, even setup; shows raw actions behind the plate; has a clean transfer with consistent feet; successfully puts the ball on the bag; 78 mph position velocity. Sometimes gets up too early instead of staying low during throws to second. Moves well laterally at 1B; got in position for most ground balls; shows nice glove work when in good position; made accurate throws; 80 mph position velocity. Recorded a 60 time of 7.32.

2/16/2019: Sebastian Kuhns, C/1B, Carroll HS, 2020, 6 foot 1, 212 pounds, uses a controlled leg lift to load. Hands are back early and uses flat barrel to hit line drives. Posted an exit velocity of 92 mph at the event. Mature body behind the plate, a little stiff in his setup. Posted pop times 2.04-2.11 with room to get better. Feet were average and arm got a little long on the back. Threw 78 mph from the crouch.

3/3/18:  6-foot, 180 pound catcher hits from a slight crouch with smooth load.  Toe tap into stride.  Long, flat swing.  Extension post-contact.  One-handed finish.  Above average bat speed.  High exit velocity of 87.  Defensively, he has flat footwork with long arm swing.  Footwork will need to improve.  Pop times ranged between 2.12-2.19.  Top throwing velocity was 70mph.

2/25/18: 60 Time: 7.81, Position Velocity: C-69, Exit Velocity: 83

6-foot, 180 pound catcher hits from balanced setup, quiet under control toe tap to load and stride. Flat barrel with minimal hand load, long to short bat path through the hitting zone, barrel works flat through the hitting zone producing line drives middle to pull side. Limited lower half, controls the barrel with average bat speed through contact. Stiff upper half actions. Behind the plate, works tall with stiff lower half to throw, front side spin early, arm drags away from target. Better footwork with more explosive lower half needed, below average arm strength and carry. Delivered 2.19-2.22 pop times left of the bag.
