Ty White, 2028, SS, Plainfield: I got about ~6 at-bats on White in Kokomo including a full-game look vs. Hanover Central. He is stocky with an abundance of twitch in the undersized, compact frame. The athleticism and run tool plays higher in-game than the 6.9 he posted in showcase; went 4.25 H-1st at best which is a present above average time on the pro scale, also went 4.35 which is a fringy pro grade. I think he has a chance to be a plus runner down the road; well above-average runner compared to his underclass peers now. He is sure-handed on the infield with left-side arm strength from a slingy arm action. Offensively, the swing is level and works across the zone at times, but he has present twitch and gets the barrel up to speed quickly. Gamer type, plays hard at all times.

A multi-sport, hard-nosed, gamer who made excellent strides in his toolset, White continues to establish himself as a strong follow in the class. A 6.9 runner, White took to batting practice with a strong-based setup while hovering with control and working behind the ball with an explosive, on-plane, right-handed stroke. The impacts were substantial as the compact, 5-foot-10, 180-pounder peaked at 97 mph while driving the ball from gap-to-gap. He isn't flashy on the infield, but just makes routine look routine before firing the ball across with event-best infield arm strength, reaching 93 mph across.

- '28 INF Ty White (Plainfield) is one I have seen for some time and he continues to trend as one of the better athletes in the class. It is a stocky, 5-foot-9, 165 pound frame and he brings twitch to pair with it. He's explosive and turned in a top 5 vertical leap (25.6") and a 7.07 60-yard dash. He brings lateral quickness to the dirt with solid actions. His hands are his best attribute and he shows really quick glove-to-hand. The arm is quick and slingy producing an event-best 87 mph arm across the diamond. He has the ability to play all three infield spots at the high school level with the body/athleticism trends likely determining his best future position. Offensively, it is a short, flat, handsy stroke geared towards line drive contact. He's shown barrel feel in the past and was on a line often with a 91.2 mph exit at this event.

‘28 SS Ty White (Canes Midwest National) - Compact, 5-foot-8, 145 pounder with strength for his age. High leg kick stride, turns the barrel on a level plane with fast hands. Athletic MIF with arm strength.
