6/4/13: 6-foot-1, 170 pound outfielder from Brownsburg HS.  Houston, who participated in June’s Top Prospect Games at I.U, has a strong, athletic build.   The outfielder, currently ranked No. 42, possesses a quick arm action and is 86 mph with accuracy.  At the Top Prospect Games he ran a 4.44 home to first. At the plate Houston shows some bat speed, posting an exit velo of 85 mph.  He has the ablity to drive the gaps with some projectable power.There is nothing flashy about Houston, and he can be a little stiff at times, but he has proven to be a gamer.  In 28 games this past spring he hit .451 with 6 HR, 13 2B and 32 RBI for Brownsburg. 

6/5/12: Houston is a strong, athletic 6-foot-1, 170 pound OF/RHP. From the outfield he shows good defensive actions and a strong arm at 82 mph.  At the plate he displays a balanced approach with an uphill swing plane.  He pulls the ball well with some pop.  On the mound he's over-the-top to a high 3/4 with his arm slot.  He keeps the ball in zone with an 80-82 mph fastball.  He throws two off speed pitches; a 68-71 mph breaking ball and a 75-78 mph changeup.  Houston also displays some speed, running a 7.01 sixty at the event.
