2/16/18 - Rodriguez is a 5-foot-10 175-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas' 2018 class.  He ran a 4.25 home to first and has an 89 mph exit velocity. At the plate, has a balanced stance, reverse toe tap, loose hands with middle to pull side contact, no wasted movement in hand or load. From the outfield he was 84 mph, aggressive to the ball, plays through the catch with momentum, throws with over the top release.

2/12/17 - Rodriguez is a 5-foot-10 175-pound left-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’2018 class.  He ran a 7.51 laser timed 60 and a 4.40 home to first.  He has an 85 mph exit velo and has a strong build. At the plate, athletic stance with wide set up in feet, loads hands, gap-to-gap approach, level bat path through the zone, body stays under control during swing.  In the outfield, 80 mph positional velo, over the top release, momentum after catch, fluid transfer, somewhat accurate throws. On the mound, Rodriguez showed fastball and curveball during pitching evaluations, fastball at 74-76 mph, curveball mostly 63-65 mph, 12-to-6 action on curveball, over the top release, deliberate leg lift in delivery, body under control.
