5/31/16 - Walker is a 5-foot-11 165-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2018 class.  He ran a 7.35 60 and a 4.56 home-to-first.  He has an 81 mph exit velo. At the plate, showed some power at the plate during batting practice, athletic set up, short stride, minimal and smooth load, short path to contact, quick bat speed, most contact was hard up the middle.  In the outfield, 80 mph positional velo, over the top release, catches ball in position to throw, athletic footwork, creates momentum through the catch, quick release, somewhat accurate throws. On the mound, Walker has a smooth delivery, high three-quarters arm slot, throws with regular effort, high percentage of strikes, command of fastball and curveball, loose arm action,  fastball at 75-78 mph, works to both sides of the plate, attacks zone, breaking ball has 1-to-7 action, late, some sharp movemen, looks to be a good pitch as he develops.
