2015 Wichita Eagle All-Metro Team
2014 KABC 3A Player of the Year
2014 Hutch News All-Area Player of the Year
7/6/14 - Ware is a two-time 3A Player of the Year in Kansas and hit over .700 this spring.  This tournament was a great forum for him to show he can handle upper level high school pitching and he did just that in the games we saw. It’s pretty much settled business that Ware is one of the top right-handed hitters in the area.  The questions people seem to have about Ware center around where he is going to end up defensively at the next level.  In an extra inning game versus Building Champions-Jones at Westurban he was repeatedly challenged at third base and handled every play just fine.
2/17/14 - A sturdy-bodied, 6-foot, 195-pound right-hander, Ware throws from a ¾ slot.  His delivery is methodical and controlled.  His fastball registered in the 83-86 range and, at times, had arm side run.  His command of this pitch improved towards the end of his workout.  He showed a 68-71 curve ball with 12/6 spin and a 75-78 change-up with arm side run.
2/17/14 - Ware is a strong, athletic 6-foot, 195-pound infielder.  At the plate he starts with a balanced set up and wide stance.  He has a fluid load and short inline stride.  He has a very short, compact swing with bat speed.  His exit velocity high was 87 mph and ran a 4.28 home to 1B.  In the infield his hands and feet work well as he plays through the ball and he throws with a short ¾ motion.  Ware’s infield throwing velocity was 83 mph and made all accurate throws with carry to them.
