Kilgore is an athletic and lean 6-foot 165-pound right-handed hitting catcher and shortstop in Kansas’ 2021 class. He ran a 7.08 60 and a 4.35 home to first. He had an 89 mph exit velocity. Behind the plate, square set up in base, quick catch and release, smooth actions, transfer on time with footwork, replaces feet, short over the top arm slot, 79 mph positional velocity, 1.98 to 2.10-second pop times, mostly accurate throws with carry. On the infield, short over the top arm slot, quick actions with aggressive footwork to the ball, clean transfer and throw, accurate throws with carry, 85 mph positional velocity, projection in build with plenty of room to add strength to build and quick twitch actions.
