2/12/17 - Elias is a 5-foot-10 168-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2018 class.  He ran a 7.20 laser timed 60 and a 4.27 home to first.  He has an exit velo of 89 mph. At the plate, athletic set-up, slight pre-swing rhythm, short in line stride, repeats, minimal hand movement, quick bat speed, consistent hard contact during hitting evaluations, gap to gap approach, flashing pull power.  In the outfield, over the top release, 77 mph positional velo, work behind the ball with momentum after the catch, fluid transfer, accurate throws.

11/1/15 - Elias is a 5-foot-10 160-pound left-handed hitting outfielder and left-handed pitcher in Kansas' 2018 class. Elias ran a 7.03, one of the top for the event, and an 83 mph exit velo, another one of the top among LHH. He ran a 4.40 home to first.  At the plate, slight rhythm in balanced set up, short stride, minimal movement in load, power potential to pull side, consistent solid contact during batting practice.  In the outfield, 76 mph positional velo, over the top arm slot, long/loose action, attacks the ball, quick exchange, athletic footwork, somewhat accurate throws. On the mound, Elias has an over the top release, throws a high number of strikes with three pitches.  Fastball mainly 69-71, works both sides of plate, 1-to-7 curveball, 57-62 mph, late action, change up at 58-61 mph, arm side sink, simple and repeatable delivery, smooth tempo, arm action and build would suggest increased velocity over next several months.

6/2/15 - Chase is a 5'10 153-pound left hand hitting outfielder and left handed pitcher from St Thomas Aquinas. Moved well in the outfield, good runner and athletic, posting a 7.14 60/yd, attacked the ball with good footwork and accurate throws with a top velo of 79 mph. A simple swing, slightly open stance with a short stride, swing is short and quick to the ball and makes consistent up the middle or right side contact during BP with a exit velo of 82 mph and had a clean single in game action. With a balanced smooth delivery and a short, loose arm action and high 3/4 slot, with easy repeatable delivery, lands square and athletic, worked his fastball 73-75 mph in game. With 65-67 mph 1/7 shaped breaking ball that was in and out of the strike zone.
