RHP Coby Branson (Santa Fe Trail, 2026) was one of the biggest winners on the mound from Saturday’s event. At this event last year, Branson’s fastball played at 81-83 mph, but the 6-foot-2, 190-pound righty sat 86-88 mph on Saturday, touching 90.2 mph on his firmest fastball. He paired that with a sweeping slider at 77-80 mph and a changeup at 81-82 mph, both also up in velocity from the previous year.
