Lanky 6-foot-3, 170-pound frame with wiry upside levers. Showed loud stuff on the hill in two different looks this weekend. Pumped his fastball up to 90 mph and hit the 88 mph mark a few days later. Easy worker downhill, more velocity in the tank. Throws a gradual breaking ball with some depth in the low-70s. Upside arm that looked like a high-follow uncommitted arm in the Kansas 2023 class.
Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 6-2, 165-pounds. Long, lean frame with projectability and room to add strength.
Hit: RHH. Tall, balanced stance. High back elbow with some pre-pitch rhythm. Controlled toe-tap and hand load into a medium stride. Slight uphill swing path, getting extension through contact. Shows some feel for the barrel, using all fields and ability to hit pitches low in the zone. Line-drives and fly balls in BP.
Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 77.2 mph. 236’ max distance. Gap-to-gap approach.
Arm: RH. OF - 83 mph. Short, quick high-3/4 arm action with carry.
Defense: In the outfield, quiet footwork, direct routes to field. Clean glove. Uses momentum through his release.
Run: 4.64 runner home to first.
Arm Action: RH. Long high-3/4 arm action. Low-effort release.
FB: T82, 80.3-81.9 mph. Straight action for strikes. T2326, 2238 average rpm.
CB: 68.6-69.2 mph. Tight 10/4 cut action. T1780, 1603 average rpm.
CH: 70.9-75.7 mph. Fade and sink action tunneled with fastball arm speed. T1860, 1780 average rpm.
Positional Profile: OF/RHP. Follow on the mound in 2023 class.
Body: Athletic, projectable 6-foot-2, 160-pound build with room to add strength.
Hit: RHH. At the plate starts in a tall, balanced stance. Leg kick and hand load into a level swing plane. Consistent line-drive contact to the middle of the field. Loose hands with some barrel whip through the zone.
Power: 90 mph exit velocity off the tee and 85 mph exit velocity in BP.
Arm: RH. OF - 80 mph. Quick high- arm action with some carry.
Defense: In the outfield, displays range with quick footwork and solid routes to field. Sure hands and glove, clean exchanges.
Run: 7.34 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Projectable right-handed frame. On the mound works from the stretch with a low effort delivery. Repeatable balance point, weight shifts down the mound. Lands square to home with athletic finish.
Arm Action: RH. Clean long- arm action. Shows projectability and arm-speed.
FB: 77-80 mph, straight action low in the zone.
CB: 64-67 mph, tight 11/5 spin with feel.
CH: 71-76 mph, solid fade and sink action thrown with fastball arm speed.
