8/5/15 - Haynes is a 6-foot-2 185-pound right-handed hitting first baseman. Haynes ran a 7.34 60 and has an exit velo of 87 mph.  Offensively, tall/balanced set up, open stance, short stride, level to extension, showed power to pull side, gap-to-gap approach.  On the infield, over the top release, fluid footwork, clean exchange, 74 mph positional velo. In the outfield, 80 mph positional velo, loose arm action, over-the-top release, momentum through catch, fluid footwork, clean exchange, throws downhill, accurate throws with carry.

2/16/15 - Haynes is an athletic-framed 6-foot-2, 185-pound outfielder from Hays HS in Hays, KS. Class of 2016. Bats right, tall set-up. Early load and stride. Hands and lower half in sync. Fast hands. Works gaps, some pull side lift. 87 mph exit velocity, ran a 4.41 home-to-first. In the outfield showed athletic footwork, clean exchanges, high three-quarters arm action, 75 mph throwing velocity. Shown improvement physically and at the plate since the summer. Projectable right-hand hitting outfield prospect.
6/18/14 - Haynes is an athletic 6-foot-1, 175-pound right-hand hitting outfielder with some strength.  During outfield evaluations he showed athletic footwork, clean exchanges and quick, three quarters arm action with some effort.  His top throw was clocked at 74 mph.  At the plate, Haynes showed a tall set-up and inline stance.  He sets his hands early and uses a very short stride.  He showed an upper-half dominant swing with a slight pull approach.  His top exit velocity was clocked at 80 mph.  He ran a 4.43 home-to-1B from the right side.
