4/25/14 - Keylan Killgore (2015 MLB Draft prospect – Wichita State commit) is a left-handed pitcher for Wichita Heights.  He was making his second start of the season after injuring his wrist during practice. The 6-foot-3, 155-pound junior throws to the plate from a 3/4 arm slot using short, easy arm action and throwing slightly across his body hiding the ball from hitters well.  His stride is short and controlled.  On Friday, he normally threw his fastball between 80-82 mph with a max speed of 84 mph.  Additionally, he had a change-up that stood between 73-76 mph with fastball arm speed.  He has plenty of room for growth as he can add size and strength to his current slight frame.  Killgore is currently 1-0 this spring with a 2.63 ERA in 16 innings with 15 strikeouts.
