8/1/15 - Anderson is a 6-foot-1 160-pound right-handed hitting shortstop.  During infield evaluations, Anderson posted an 85 mph positional velo, with fluid footwork and a quick release, making accurate throws across the infield. He ran a 7.25 60 and had an exit velo of 92 mph.  During batting practice, Anderson showed off his aggressive swing, driving ball into both gaps. He has a balanced set-up with a controlled leg kick.  In game three, Anderson drove in seven runs against Missouri and finished the three-game stretch going 4-for-8. On the mound, Anderson worked 82-85 mph with his fastball, and showed a 12-to-6 breaking ball at 69-73 mph.

6/2/15 - Luke is a 6'1 160-pound right handed hitting middle infielder and right handed pitcher from Shawnee Mission East. With quick feet and soft hands and good glove presentation and exchanges, he fields most balls at or to either side of him with relative ease. Accurate throws with strength and carry, a good middle of the field defender. With a high leg kick and easy middle of the field approach, maintains loose hands through extension with some loft to his swing. Lifting three balls to center field with some carry in game action.

12/27/14 - Anderson is a 6-foot-1, 155-pound right-handed pitcher and right-hand hitting shortstop. On the mound showed an athletic delivery with body control, high three-quarters slot, clean arm action, gets out front with ease, repeats, fastball 81-84 mph, 86 tops, strikes. Breaking ball 71-72 mph. Change-up 74-75 mph. Showed quick hands and feet at shortstop, easy high three-quarters throwing motion, throws had carry, highest fielding grade of the infield group. Talented class of 2017 prospect with a thin, athletic frame that projects well.
