2023 Creekside JC Showcase: An athletic mover down the mound with low effort from a high three-quarter release point. The right-hander’s fastball touched 94 with most in the 92-93 range. It was a big straight with spin rates into the 2400s. He killed spin (1450-1600 rpm) on his 86-87 mph changeup delivered with identical arm speed to that of his fastball. Borberg also froze a few hitters with a near average slurve at 79-81 with good depth and spin into the 2600s. Overall, he showed feel for three pitches and was around the strike zone.
