1/26/19 - Rast is a strong 5-foot-11 175-pound right-handed hitting outfielder, right-handed pitcher and third baseman in Kansas’ 2020 class. At the plate, starts in a tall and thin stance, slightly open, high hands, minimal load, in line stride, hits with leverage in back leg, flashed pull power, level swing path.  In the outfield, loose over the top arm slot, aggressive to the ball, quick exchange with active footwork, plays through the ball with momentum, 81 mph positional velocity. At the plate, starts in a strong and balanced stance, fluid pre swing rhythm, some hand load, level path with solid contact and feel for the barell, body stays under control.  In the outfield, 78 mph positional velocity, over the top release, gains ground after the catch, works behind the ball with fluid glove to hand transfer.
