Between The Lines Scout Day: Pitchers Analysis

Prep Baseball Report Kansas held the Between the Lines Scout Day at The BTL Baseball Facility in Shawnee, Kansas. Nearly twenty-five players participated in the 2022 to 2019 classes from around the area.
Player profiles have been updated with running times and velocities along with a video of their performance.
Players can now updated their profiles with a ProspectPlus subscription, while scouts and recruiters can add players on ScoutPlus.

Steven Azzaro C / OF / St James Academy, KS / 2021Azzaro is a 6-foot-1 170-pound right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2021 class. Azzaro comes from an over the top arm slot, quick tempo in delivery, slides foot across rubber, lands slightly open, finishes in position ready to field the ball, throws with some effort, fastball at 69-73 mph, some with late sinking action, change up at 62-66 mph, near fastball arm speed, throws for strikes. |
Wyatt Barney RHP / OF / Desoto , KS / 2021Barney is a lean 6-foot-2 155-pound right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2021 class. Barney uses a rock stop in the wind up and hides the ball behind right hip in stretch, controlled delivery, over the top release, works in line down the mound, throws with regular effort, fastball at 75-76 mph, works to the bottom of the zone, curveball has 11-to-5 shape, 65-67 mph, late at times, good arm side run when down the zone. |
