8/4/16 - 6-foot-4, 200-pound left-handed hitter, upside frame, long levers, projects well. Arm plays from a high ¾ slot, gets extension. Fastball touched 86 mph, sat 82-85 mph. Curveball has depth with swing and miss potential, 70-73 mph, got two swinging strikeouts with it in game.

2/21/15 - Dennis is a projectable 6-foot-3 188-pound left-handed hitting 1B/LHP.  At the plate, athletic set-up, smooth load with no wasted movements, worked the middle of the cage, balanced finish, level bat path to extension, 81 mph exit velo, 4.63 home-to-first.  At first base, fluid footwork, clean exchange, momentum towards target, plays through ball, high three-quarters release, 69 mph infield velo, accurate throws.  In the outfield, high three-quarters release, fluid exchange and release, momentum towards target, 77 mph outfield velo. On the mound, Dennis had one of the top LHP fastball velos of the event at 82 mph, loose arm action, body is controlled during delivery, repeatable mechanics, over-the-top release, shoulders level down the mound, 78-81 mph fastball, throws for strikes, 1-to-7 shaped curveball, change-up at 61-66 mph, slight sink. Dennis will be a player to follow in the Kansas 2018 class.
