6/22/21

Positional Profile: OF/RHP

Body: 5-foot-11, 170-pound athletic and lean build with room for added strength and size in the future.

Hit: RHH.  At the plate starts with a slightly open stance and athletic posture.  Short leg kick stride to a neutral base with strong weight shift into the back side.  Short linear push from the back leg into a firm front leg.  Short and compact stroke with the hands working rotationally through the zone.  Attacks the ball out in front of the plate with head staying behind the ball at contact.  Pull side approach with a slight uphill bat path. Very quick hands through the zone.

Power: 82 mph exit velocity off the tee and 90 mph exit velocity in BP.

Arm: RH.  OF-89 MPH.  Over the top arm slot with a clean arm action and good hand speed.

Defense: In the outfield attacks the ball with aggressive footwork and rhythm.  Does a good job of working behind the ball on fly balls and transferring out of the glove in rhythm. Shuffle style crow hop technique and shows good glove action and soft hands.

Run: 6.88 runner in the 60.

Delivery: On the mound uses an uptempo pace and simple footwork around the rubber working to a high balance point.  Slight crunch in the posture at the top of the balance point with a tall and fall style motion down the slope.  Body leans forward at balance point.  Hands break quickly out of the glove at the top of the balance point.  Effort in the delivery while maintaining good athleticism.  Works from the first base side of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound with strong body rotation off of a firm plant leg.

Arm Action: High ¾ arm slot with a quick and short arm action with good hand speed.

FB: 85-87 mph, mostly straight action with solid spin and tilt.

SL: 70-71 mph, short cutting action with some late depth.

CB: 70-71 mph, bigger action with two-plane break.

CH: 69-70 mph, strong arm side fading action with depth.
